Your Father's Day Deal is a waste of time

If you want to attract Dad (and the family) on Sunday, the NRA just published a survey showing how Father's Day dining decisions are made. Over half of respondents are going to Dad's favorite place. If you are not that place today, better luck next year. The next most important factor was "kid-friendly" followed by a place dad has never been.

If you want Father's Day diners you are better off promoting how family friendly your restaurant is  this Sunday. Good-for-kids is twice as important as specials.  Discounting is just giving money away to people that might have come anyway.
